Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Reloc8te (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including consumers, real estate agents, and enterprise customers.

2. Description of Service

Reloc8te provides AI-powered relocation analysis reports that compare cities based on cost of living, housing, taxes, wages, schools, safety, connectivity, natural-hazard risk, and other factors, and may include a relocation planning checklist. Reports are generated using a combination of public government data, third-party data providers, deterministic calculators, and AI analysis. Reports are informational and do not constitute financial, legal, tax, or real-estate advice.

Data is aggregated from third-party and government sources, including the U.S. Census Bureau (American Community Survey), the Bureau of Economic Analysis (Regional Price Parities), the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the FBI (Uniform Crime Reporting), the FEMA National Risk Index, Zillow, RentCast, and others. This data may be delayed, estimated, incomplete, or contain errors and is not independently verified by Reloc8te. Cost-of-living, home-value, wage, tax, crime, and disaster-risk figures are approximate and provided for general comparison only; hazard and disaster-risk ratings are relative indices, not predictions of future events.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Payments & Subscriptions

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
  • One-time report purchases are non-refundable once the report has been generated.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract our data or algorithms
  • Resell or redistribute reports without an agent or enterprise plan
  • Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise system security
  • Impersonate another person or entity

6. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, algorithms, and branding on Reloc8te are owned by Reloc8te or its licensors. Reports generated for you are licensed for your personal or professional use (depending on your plan). Agent and enterprise customers receive a license to distribute reports to their clients under their own branding as permitted by their plan.

6a. Sponsored Placements & Advertising

Reports may contain a clearly labeled sponsored placement from a licensed real-estate agent. Sponsored placements are advertising, not endorsements, referrals, or recommendations. Reloc8te does not vouch for any advertiser's services, and no agency, brokerage, partnership, or fiduciary relationship is created between you and Reloc8te, or between you and an advertiser, by the appearance of a placement.

Advertisers pay Reloc8te a flat monthly advertising fee. Reloc8te receives no commission, referral fee, per-lead fee, per-inquiry fee, or any compensation contingent on a transaction, closing, or the value of any transaction. Placements are selected using only the destination metro area of your report and never influence report content, city rankings, savings estimates, or any other analysis. You should independently verify any advertiser's licence and qualifications before engaging them.

6b. Agent Accounts & Client Data

If you use Reloc8te as a real-estate agent, you may enter, upload, or invite clients whose personal information is processed to produce reports. As between you and Reloc8te, you are the controller of your clients' personal information and Reloc8te is your processor, handling that information on your behalf and under your instructions solely to provide the Service.

You represent and warrant that you have a lawful basis and all necessary consents and authority to provide your clients' information to Reloc8te and to have reports prepared and delivered on their behalf. You are responsible for your own compliance with applicable privacy, consumer-protection, fair-housing, and real-estate laws in your dealings with your clients. You agree to indemnify Reloc8te against claims arising from your entry or use of client data in violation of this section. Reloc8te will process client data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and will not use it for its own marketing.

6c. Communications & Text Messages

By creating an account you agree to receive transactional communications (sign-in links, report delivery, receipts, and account or security notices) as part of the Service. Marketing email and SMS text messages are sent only with your separate, express consentand can be withdrawn at any time — unsubscribe from email, or reply STOP to text messages. Message and data rates may apply to SMS; consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant or guarantee the completeness, timeliness, or correctness of data obtained from third-party or government sources, nor of any figure, estimate, projection, or recommendation in a report.

Without limiting the foregoing: cost-of-living, home-value, rent, wage, tax, savings, and crime figures are approximate estimates and are not a guarantee of any price, cost, income, tax outcome, or savings you will actually experience; natural-hazard and disaster-risk ratings are relative indices and are not predictions or assurances of safety; veteran, homestead, and other tax-exemption amounts depend on eligibility and current law and must be applied for with the relevant authority; and any relocation checklist or timeline is a general planning guide only — deadlines and requirements for vehicle registration, licensing, voter registration, and tax exemptions vary by state and county and change over time. You are solely responsible for independently verifying all information and for consulting a licensed CPA, attorney, real-estate professional, or financial advisor before making relocation, financial, tax, or legal decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reloc8te shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including liability, IP, and dispute resolution) will survive.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
